Birthdays!

We had 2 birthdays this week! Melissa turned 3 on Thursday, and Josh turned 7 on Friday. For Melissa we just did Family stuff. Here she is making her cake . . .

And here's one of her presents. When I asked what she wanted for her birthday she kept saying that she wanted 5 little babies. I was mad that I couldn't find any quints at wal-mart, they would have been so perfect! Maybe they don't make them anymore. But we did find a pack of little babies in the baby shower section, and a little packet of other baby decor that included little bottles. Then when I went to wrap them they seemed kinda boring, so me and Nat stayed up late making little beds and stuff out of fabric and scotch tape. Heh. I think they're pretty cute.
And we got her this little table too since she loves to draw. She's starting to get good at making her letters, and the little people she draws are so cute!

Then Josh! He had a spiderman party! Here's his cake. I was very happy about my design idea because it meant I could use chocolate frosting!

His cousin Anthony (far right) gave him the spiderman costume! His party was pretty fun.

SMILES!

I got a couple of half-smiles out of Amanda when she was 5 weeks, and her very first real smile was the night before she turned 6 weeks old. We are just loving our smiley girl, she's so delightful! She's starting to do the cooing and almost laughing things too.

So here's some smiley pics . . .

Just took this one today . . . .

And a silly one for good measure.

Just for Jana

I can't believe I haven't posted these yet! Actually I guess I was waiting till I had them all, these are just a few samples.

Cherise took these of Mandie when she was 10 days old, and they turned out so great! Thanks Cherise, it was so nice of you!

I put her birth announcement in the paper this week, (with this first pic) and I got so many compliments on it at church. It really looked great in the paper, I was glad I did a black and white one, because the color ones always turn out kinda fuzzy.
