A few things

First of all, thank you so much for all the nice things everybody said about my cross stitch! In answer to the questions, it took me about 10 months to do it, and yeah Jana, there were 90 colors!

Second: this is Jessica's letter to the tooth fairy, from the tooth she lost in the back yard a while back. I just love it. It was by far the longest thing she'd written at that point, and I love everything about it from the handwriting to the spelling to the things she decided to say. So cute!

Deyr Toth Fary,

I lost mi toth.
We mit find mi toth.
We mit not fuind mi toth.
This is mi frst toth.
If yo lok in the bak e yrd
bi the fiyr plas you wel
not see my toth. lov Jessie
And thirdly I wanted to pass on a quick little mommy tip. This website: www.coloring.ws is where we go all the time to print free coloring pages. They have so many, and they're all very nicely organized so you can find whatever you want. Yesterday for instance my girls wanted to color bugs. They have like 3 or 4 different pictures of every bug there is! Love it!

check it out!

Last year I got some software that turns photos into cross stitch patterns! After messing with a few pictures I settled on one of Emma, and started it last August. I was so curious to see if it would actually turn out looking like her! I finished it just in time to send it to Jana for mother's day. And here it is!

Now I have to decide who to do next!

The Dress and the Kitty

My mom got a dress-sewing bug around Easter and has been making cute little dresses for the younger grandgirls.
She finished Missy's while she was here with the kids, and here it is!

Isn't it adorable?? I'm so lucky to have a mom who's so sewy.

Mandie was quite delighted the other day when Sammy the Cat deigned to come and snuggle with her. He's a very brave kitty.
