Anderson Family Reunion

We had our bi-annual (that means every two years, right?) Anderson reunion couple weeks ago, blessedly close at Duck Creek, Pinewoods resort. It was for Jason's dad's siblings and their kids and grandkids and great grandkids. There were 118 people there, which was a really good turn-out. I think only 10 or 15 were missing. We stayed at a cool 3-story cabin (only cool because we were on the bottom story) along with most of Jason's immediate family. It was a lot of fun. They had really good food and some really cool crafts for the kids and the whether was great.

Mandie was extra good the whole time, just slept in her stroller all day
when she wasn't being snuggled by adoring relatives, and even slept
through the night both nights!

Here she is with her cousin Alyssa who's just 5 weeks older.

There was a cool little playground there that the kids spent a lot of time on.

Jason's brother and dad brought a bunch of different kinds of ATV's. Jason spent a lot of time giving kids rides. He gave me one too. Here he is with Nat.

And here's Josh with Uncle Michael.

One the second day we went to Mammoth Cave. It was pretty cool! I mostly had to stay up top with the little girls, but Jason took the kids for a good long hike down into the cave.

Then I finally went down for a little while-- here's Nat and Josh from down in the entrance.

While I was down below, Jessie really biffed it. Luckily she had a very funny, uh, 1st cousin once removed to cheer her up and clean her glasses.

Here's Jess again with Joe and Kim's dog, she loved him so much!

Josh and his cousin found a horny toad!
On the way home a bunch of us stopped to play in the stream.

The End!
