My last Salt Lake school weekend of the semester was on Dec. 13. (only one semester left!) I decided to bring the kids with me and visit Jason's sister Jennifer in Eagle Mountain, and it also occurred to me a couple weeks beforehand that we'd be able to see the lights at temple square! I was really excited about that because my kids have never seen them before and I always loved going with my family when I was little.
Jess and Missy are the only ones who have been to Temple Square before, and they were all really excited about seeing all the historical stuff! Here they are on the slanty side bench in the assembly hall

I was really proud that we actually made it through traffic (on the night of a Jazz game AND the tabernacle choir/muppets concert!) and found parking and didn't get lost. Actually the not getting lost part was mostly thanks to Natalie.....
The kids also had tons of fun with lots of cousins and I mostly survived school. It was a really quick but really fun weekend.
