Reunions!

In July we had 2 back-to-back reunions.  The first one was the Rowley campout!  I was only able to go for one day, but my awesome parents took my kids up with them.

The second reunion was also a Rowley one, but this time just my parents and sibs and all our kids.  We've been doing this reunion every other year at Bear Lake, but we decided it's time to make it a yearly thing.  We all congregated at Mom and Dad's in Flagstaff.  Everybody but Jason was able to come.

The first day we went to Lake Mary.  My parents brought their kayak and the kids loved rowing it around.

They had tons of fun playing in the sand too.

Another day a bunch of us went for a hike.  My 3 younger girls came, and they loved climbing on all the rocks along the way.

Notice that Missy is holding a tiny bouquet.  She picked it for Natalie as she went along, and guarded it with her life.

I love this one of me and my parents!

We were there for a whole week!  One night we went on a date night with just the grown-ups while the big kids babysat.  We went to a really fun restaurant and then we went stargazing.  So fun!

We were sad that Jason couldn't come, but we're getting used to surviving without him now I guess.  Jason had a pretty good week without us; he felt okay enough to take care of himself, and he was able to just enjoy having the house to himself.  We're hopeful that he'll be able to go to the next reunion at Bear Lake!
