2010 Catch Up

This week(and when I say "this" I mean the week I started this post) for our no-longer-called-enrichment meeting, we talked about journaling. I was reminded of the family journal we were given for our wedding. It's just a regular journal, but with "The Anderson Family" engraved on it. I thought it was such a great idea when we got it, and i meant to write in it forever, then I finally made a few entries 3 or 4 years ago.
THEN I discovered blogging! Isn't this the PERFECT family journal? Complete with pictures, and shareable and printable.
So I guess I should do more entries, reminding myself that it's mostly for me and my kids and hub, and they don't have to be perfect fascinating posts for the ten people that read them.

So on that note, there are some things from 2010 that I never blogged about, so I'll just stick them all together here:

Natalie and Jessica like to play "spa"

Josh got a medal at the raingutter regatta!

Jessica turned 8! (apparently I don't have a picture of her cake? This is her with one of her presents)

Natalie turned 12! (and decorated her cake herself!)

And got her ears pierced!

Then Jess and Nat had a party. They each invited one friend and pizza and went swimming and had a sleepover!

Me and Mandie caught a lizard!

The kids pretended to be dead.

Julie and the cousins came to visit!

And Mandie and Alyssa became best pals.

We went to Flagstaff for Thanksgiving, and the only pictures I took were of baby Annie.

The End! Next I'll do Christmas!

LOL the kids pretended to be dead! They must be related to us Rowley kids, don't you think? I am still laughing about that. And Mandie's eyes are so big and beautiful in that last picture (as is my Annie girl.)

Yay, I'm one of the 10 who read your blog! I love the update. (And I'm totally impressed, but I guess not surprised, that Natalie decorated her own cake.)

I love that the girls invited a friend and pizza to their sleepover!

Oh my gosh, we were 12 when we met!!! I can't believe Nat is that old already... and it's amazing that you've managed to stay 21 and beautiful all this time!
