I didn't have much time with my kids this school year, but I tried to take them to do something after my school got out on Saturdays. In the fall we went up to see the C on the mountain up close.
Here's the view from up there:
You park up above it, and of course my kids immediately wanted to start climbing down onto the rocks. They totally freaked me out, so I didn't let them do it for long. This picture makes me laugh, they look like they're doing some kind of stylized dance.....
This guy was there getting his parachute ready when we got there and we got to watch him take of right next to us-- it was crazy!
Then we explored a little up there
They decided this was their house.
The little girls had fun collecting acorns
