Grandpa's Funeral

My dear Grandpa, Wilford Wiseman, passed away on January 6th.  The kids and I went to California the next week for his funeral.  

We drove the extra hour to Jason's parents' house and stayed there the night before.  All the Wrightwood peeps came over for dinner and the cousins had an awesome time together.

We loved seeing the new house, and the kids built amazing creations with Grandma's toys and insisted on me taking pictures of them.

The funeral was really special, I was so glad to have a chance to honor my wonderful grandpa. 

 And it was wonderful to see all of the Wiseman relatives and spend some time with them.

One of my favorite parts of the funeral was this song, sung by Grandpa's friend.  Grandpa had requested that this be sung at his funeral, wanting us to remember Christ when we remember him.
