Our little Natalie is now a high school graduate!!!
She loved high school and did so well. I asked her what her favorite subject was, and she couldn't really decide. She was in the FCCLA club (like, home ec. club) and got the Student of the Month award in CTE (again, basically home ec) so she really loved that subject.
She also discovered that she loves math and is really good at it. She was in a college math class (1050) when she was a junior, then took AP Stats when she was a senior and got a 4 on the AP test. She graduated with 21 college credits from concurrent enrollment classes.
She got a 30 on her ACT and qualified for the top academic scholarship at SUU-- full tuition for 4 years! And of course she was in National Honor Society.
And all that while being a full-time nanny to the other kids while I worked and went to school, teaching piano lessons as an after school job, and she fit in earning her YW medallion too.
If you can't tell, I am amazingly proud of this girl.
Both sets of grandparents were planning to be here, but Jason's mom wasn't as recovered as she needed to be from back surgery, so they had to stay home. They sent Natalie these adorable flowers!
Each kid gets to stand in the C and have a moment when their name is called.
We had a little party at our house afterward. Natalie decided to do a "Wicked: The Musical" theme, so everything was pink and green like the 2 witches.
