Josh is 14!
He's still a big fan of minecraft so Nat made him a minecraft cake. It's mint chocolate chip.
And it's supposed to look like this thing, which I believe is called a grass block. Or something.
Here he is with one of his presents-- it's a strip of LED lights with a controller. I love how Jason is able to find him these completely random and fun presents.
For his party he went to the new transformers movie with his friend Zack.
Josh has now started high school and is loving it. He loves the A/B schedule where they only have 4 classes a day, and he likes how mature the students are there. He also had a growth spurt over the summer which made him very happy.
Josh is still really into electronics and computer programming. It's fun to go in his room to say goodnight and see him at his desk surrounded by wires and batteries and motors, in the process of soldering something.
I love that Josh is growing up and becoming a man. It's great to have him around to do all the stuff Jason can't do. He mows the lawn and takes out the trash and carries heavy stuff and does the once-over on the van before I take long trips. And he's so sweet and willing to help. Love this kid!
