1. Today I registered Natalie for concurrent enrollment COLLEGE classes! Gah! She's taking Math 1050 (precalc) and Bio 1010. Also, speaking of Natalie, she will be turning 16 and getting her drivers license next month!
2. I started teaching Melissa to play the flute! I've had my old flute in my closet for years, but it wasn't working right. The other day after failing to find ANYONE in Cedar who could repair it, I started looking closely at it again, annnnnd I fixed it! I was pretty proud. Missy is picking it up super fast and I love teaching her! I forgot how much I loved the flute, and I'm happy that I still remember how to play it!
3. On August 23 I'm starting my LAST YEAR OF SCHOOL EVER! I'm desperately hoping that this year will not be as insane as last year. I'll still be working 3 different places, but only 40 hours, and I won't have to do any evenings! Working and going to school 3-4 evenings a week last year was the worst!
I started my practicum this week. It's at the regional mental health center (Southwest Behavioral Health) and I'll get to do lots of group and individual therapy! I'm so excited, I think I'll learn a ton there. I love my supervisor, and I get my very own office!
4. Jason's having a good week! Right now he's feeling better than he has in at least a year. It's sad how it's all relative- a good week for him would still be torture for me!- but he's not complaining. He's actually been getting out of bed every day! He never knows how long the ups will last but he's trying to appreciate every minute.
He helped make donuts after family night this week (and he survived the whole family night too!)
And here he is today in his workshop with the kids. This Dad's dream come true. :)

Your family is growing up and changing so much! Where is Nat planning to go to college? It's so soon! That's so weird how old everybody will be at our next reunion! What's with that?
